Donna is excited to be the first director of the ARC and to work with the Associate Directors to build a fabulous team of academic coaches and peer tutors. She’s committed to creating a place that provides academic support to students whether they need help with a problem set, want to develop better work habits, or hope to engage with their classes more fully.

Donna received her Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Stanford University, completed post-doctoral training at the University of California, Berkeley, and worked in a variety of academic, research, and clinical settings before joining the faculty of the Harvard College Writing Program in 2009. Donna has taught Expos Studio and Expos 20 courses on the ethics of human experimentation and the psychology of food and eating. Having worked closely with Harvard students for the past decade, Donna is eager to continue promoting students’ academic progress through her work at the ARC.
