Meaghan is an organic chemist who specializes in STEM education. In her role at the ARC, she leverages her previous experience teaching STEM courses to collaborate with faculty by creating and delivering course-embedded workshops, modules, and other supports that empower students facing discipline-specific challenges. Topics of previous collaborations include exam preparation and reflection, time management for complex assignments and challenging course loads, and reading and note-taking for courses and for research. 

Meaghan holds a BS in chemistry from Suffolk University and a PhD in chemistry from Northeastern University and has over a decade of higher education teaching experience in Boston, where she primarily taught organic chemistry lecture and laboratory courses. Prior to joining the ARC, she was a member of the Science Content Development and Production group at Pearson, where she developed digital assessment content for the Mastering Chemistry online homework platform.
