Khaleem is grateful to be in his dream job at the ARC, where he enjoys helping students foster authentic and intentional engagement with their academic lives. Committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, Khaleem strives to practice culturally competent coaching to support all students, including international and FGLI students and those who identify as BIPOC and LGBTQIA+. Khaleem also spearheads ARC programming to support students pursuing senior theses and helped create the Probation Support Program.
Khaleem began his coaching career in 2015 as an executive function coach, specializing in working with students with disabilities, including ADHD. He continues that work at the ARC. Additionally, Khaleem spent over a decade teaching courses in language, literature, and the humanities at Harvard and at Emerson College. His student services experience includes roles at the Mignone Center for Career Success, the Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the Office of Academic Integrity and Student Conduct. Khaleem leverages his deep experience at Harvard to point students to the best resources for them.
Originally from Trinidad, Khaleem grew up in Miami, Florida, and he completed undergraduate studies in French and Philosophy at the University of Miami. He earned AM and PhD degrees in Romance Languages and Literatures here at Harvard.
