Productivity to PhD

Online

Do you want to make significant progress to your prospectus, dissertation, or other research or writing project this summer? With a wide-open schedule and reduced social support, how can you be sure you will get down to work each day? Easy! Register for Productivity to PhD, set a goal, and join us for two weeks of daily jump starts! An academic coach and a small group of doctoral students will meet every weekday morning for shared structure, accountability, and encouragement. At each session, after a brief check-in to review the prior day’s progress and set goals for the work hour, each student will work independently on- or off-line for 60 minutes. The group will then reconvene at 10:45 to share progress, troubleshoot as needed, and set goals for the rest of the day. Participants are also encouraged to share wins, challenges, and strategies for success.

Daily attendance is suggested for group accountability. Open to all Harvard Griffin GSAS students. Meets from 9:00AM to 10:30AM every weekday from July 14 through July 25. Register in advance through the Academic Resource Center Scheduler.
Upon registration, you will receive an email with a Zoom link for the first day.
